I just bought one of these.
Being a newbie. What is the regular focal point I should set at? Which position should I point the polarization 0 at? 12 oclock or 6? Cheers |

The focal point depends on your satellite dish.
As for the polarization, the 0 mark needs to be at 12 or 6 O' clock. This is your zero degree. You can adjust it after that. |

I have a 2.3m Mesh.
I need to set it to this position base on dishpointer. Latitude: -37.8340° Longitude: 145.2153° Name: 132.0E JCSAT 9 | Vinasat 1 Distance: 37486km Motor Latitude: -37.8° Declination Angle: 6.0° Dish Elevation: ° Elevation: 44.0° Azimuth (true): 339.1° Azimuth (magn.): 327.2° LNB Skew [?]: -16.4° Any recommended setting? Tried setting it to around -16.4 polarization but couldn't pick up anything |

Are you using LO frequency of 5150MHz?
You will also need to know the F/D of the dish. |
