Attach some pics..thanks again
..............your lnb is not pointing to the right place so I don't think you can catch anything with that set up.

So you think is in the right place but that I need to point the LNB further down? In other words towards the middle of the disk.

Default DMX 242 on a small dish.

Hi all I'm new to the site. I have been doing some testing with the DMX 242 on my 39" dish actual size is 44"x37" with a SG2100 motor. I moved the dish to G17 at 91.0w and get lots of channels but I'm having a problem with the LNB polarizing from vertical to horizontal.

I'm new to C band so my question is do you scan V and H separate or together like I'm doing now?

I do the scan in one step, both at the same time and i dont have any problem, but we need to now more about your receiver, set up and switch so you can get a better help.

Thank's KRLOS

The first thing is that I know that the DMX242 is made for a big dish so I'm just playing around with it on my small dish until I get a big dish.I have been reading about people doing this with some success so anyway.Right now I'm running two receivers the Traxis 3500 and the Extreme view 3300 with no switches just two coaxial cables going out to the dish.

I know that because I'm not using the DMX242 for a big dish it my not work properly and is most likely my problem. The first funny thing is that I scanned in FMC on G17 and my receivers say the T/P is 3820 H,according to langsat it is V.

The other thing is that when the lnb is set at 0 I get H channels and if I scew the lnb a quarter of a turn I get V channels here are some pix.

I have this excellent lnbf working with a 1.2 meter dish too and it's works perfectly, I can't see very well from your picture but the lnbf "0" should be straight up when the dish is at "0" position, I think that's the problem you have.(lnbf is not properly placed)
