Default DMX242 Review

....at this time it is working in my fortec 1.2 meter dish and Basically doing the job the same way as my dmx 241, the only big diference is that you can conect 2 receiver at the same time (pretty good for people with fixed dishes), in my case, one is moving the motor and the other one is a slave givin me the oportunity to see the same channels in my bedroom and living room with only one dish.It is a better lnb than the BSC-621 for C band, you will get more quality point and more stables signal, i removed the palstic cap to get two or three more extra point of quality. It has not been tested yet with the dielectric piece for circular frecuency, i will do that when my 10' dish is fixed.

Can you post a pic of you fortec 120 using the dmx241? I have the same setup and I cannot seem to get any C-band (KU band is fine). The bottom dish arm where the LNB sits is my doubt. It is wide and LNB bracket sits on top of the arm and I am not sure if I have it correct. Also, what sats can you get with your 120?

Thanks for reading my post.

Thanks a lot. I see that your dish and bottom arm is narrow and my dish the bottom arm is wider and that is what is in question. The LNB bracket on my dish sits on top of the arm and does not fit inside the arm as in your dish. Do I have the correct bracket and if so is it placed correctly?

Below are some pics of my dish. Look closely at the bottom dish arm. It is different from the one you have on your pics. The LNB bracket sits on top and I am not sure if this bracket is the one for this dish although Sadoun saids it is. The KU LNB bracket is wider and fits inside the tip of the bracket.
