Default crackts dish hunting expeditions.

so i figured that i should start a thread about my dish scavenging. its way to easy to score a big ugly dish in my part of canada. ive already landed 4 with almost zero effort. any info or comments on the dishes is definately welcome. most big dish manufacturers are out of biz and info is scarce.

anyways score one pics follow.

it seems to be a 10 ft 8 petal aluminum made by general instruments. the actuator ive been told was a rafsco. supposedly good but way worn out. i massacred the huge 4.5" three support mount cuz it wouldnt fit on my truck. its being redesigned at my farm buddies shop.

actually its 2 dishes in my yard thus far. i have 3 12 footers to take down but they are a bit big for town so im not in that big of a rush for them. they might get disassembled and stored. i have 3 others to inquire about whenever i get around to it and one 8 footer with a button hook that has a 200 dollar price tag. so busy these days with work im not sure if im gonna be able to plant a pole before fall even. might even sell the house and buy another yard. haha. new view of the south. happy hunting. updates posted as they happen.

crackt out,
