Default H-H Motor Problem

Hi All,
My DISEqC H-H Mount SG-2100 motor turns only to the west direction.
Did anyone run into this problem before?
THANKS for any inputs.

check to make sure your east limits are set correctly they sometimes change by them self.

I am using a Fortec Star LTU, and 1.2 m Dish with Quad Polar Legacy 4 O/P QPH-031 LNB, the hard ware limit is set at 70 East and 70 West, I didn't set the software limits because I do not know where or how to do that.
You said (check to make sure your east limits are set correctly) where and how do I do that?
THANKS a million for your help.

that would be in your receiver usually where you set up your motor either using USALS or Disqec 1.2

THANKS Rainman,

I Found that, and there is no limit, I reset the receiver to factory default, and I fiscally, and I mean that literally, because I opened the case and removed the motor and pulled the gear up and reseat it back to the zero position, I couldn't use the manual button because it was moving in one direction only.
I am getting Galaxy 19 with the motor removed, but I would like to tinker with the motor and fix it if I can.
Again I do appreciate your help, or any inputs from other members.

I had a simular problem but with a DG 240 once I changed the IC board in the motor, another time I did a reset to the motor and that worked as well. I don't know about the SG 2100......good luck.

Smile moto motor motorizing

First off, "never" use a DIQEq switch with a motor without bypassing it first, or just do not put one inline with the motor. Second, the sg2100 has a "0" function, which sets up its counting mechanism. It is a button located at the motor. You must press this button first, then set the software limits of the receiver. Press the 0 button when the motor is in the middle of your arc, that is, when it faces south. Then manually move the motor east till it won't move anymore, then go inside and set the east limit (or do it from inside, pressing east until it won't move). This moto will now count to the west. If you have already setup the receiver and a tv outside so you can see the function and dish at the same time, do all this in sequence, and your moto will move through the wholy arc, when you make it work without missing anysteps...
