Default Latitude for SG6000?

Hi guys:i ordered a WS9036 sat dish and a SG6000 motor.

My question IS! i went to fortec dish elevation and azimuth and put in Boston sat Galaxy 25 i get latitudes for the motors 20..1=HH100/HH120 and 35.1= HH90, My question are these also good for sg6000, and which of the two should if any use on my latitude on my SG6000 motor? also what due south sat should i use here in Mas Boston for my motor set up? thanks in advance.

It's me again: i just found other site with the parameters for the motor only lists SG2100 not SG6000, should i use SG2100 Latitude parameters for my location?

your geographical longitud is your "0", the elevation is quite different from sg to hh motor. You should use the number on sg6000 manual.

If you're in the Boston (02118 for example) area your Latitude should be 42.3399 and Longitde 71.0562. Your southern most satellite will be 72.0°W.

Thanks for reply to my post Babadem: in fact my Latitude is 41.6975,and Longitude -71.1416,you think i should point at 72.W? i was thinking to point at 61.5 since that's a strong signal because i use to have dn and the dish still on the roof next to the one i'm going to install as soon as i get it, and i can connect to my Cworks although scrambled but i can use 61.5 to point and acquire a sat and than it will get me all of the others Sat's don't you think is a good idea? also what you think of the Motor SG6000 that i ordered? thanks in advance.

I don't own an SG6000, but you should use 72°W as your true south satellite. Most of the satellites that you're hunting for are Linear and not circular anyway. I hope someone with a SG6000 motor can help you with the settings and operation.

Babadem apreciate you effort,i did not receive yet my dish and motor, there has been a delay due to the store not having SG6000 no more so i exchanged for SG 9120, a better choice for that matter because everything mostly is metal in side, about the 72W wouldn't be better to go 61.5W just for Good strong signal to point the dish and than look for others? Also I'm having a hard time to get the mount support ready for the dish, unfortunately i have to use one of the DN mounts i made a small extension with a small pipe and made a few supports with pipe hope this will be strong enough and not fall apart on the neighbor's head, my only solution was to mount it on the roof of a 2 floor apart not strait, Thanks in advance.

I own a sg6000, my south is 83 west but when i try to install a motor the first thing i do is try to get the nimiq1 at 91 west because the strong signal and because the circular signal are really easy to catch, after that i move to amc5 79 west to finish my set up, i know a have a satellite at 83 west (that is my really south) but is not strong enough so i think you can try that way.
