Default What is a DiSEqC HH Motor

A DiSEqC motor is a motor that uses DiSEqC commands from the satellite receiver to move east and west. Based on the users latitude, and using the correct declination angle, it's designed to follow the satellite arc.

I have heard many people ask if the motor adjusts for elevation as well. The basic answer is yes, but it does not move up and down. It only moves East & West (Left & Right). Because of the declination setting and the slight bent in the shaft, the elevation of the motor is also changed.

Check out this video: YouTube - Galaxy-Marketing.com 90cm Ku Band Satellite Dish W/ Motor

This is a WS9036 along with an original, but discontinued Sonset SG6000 DiSEqC motor... Not a cheap knock-off you find on the market.

It's a shame the motor was discontinued by the video it looked like a very smooth and quick motor.

Yeah. I know. There is some cheap knock-off that pretends it's as good as the original with the same model number.

All I can say is wait till you see what we have coming out soon. It will blow every other motor out of the water!!!! Stay tuned.
