gbox v3000 vs. vbox.

so. is it true the gbox counts twice as many pulses as the vbox ? im gonna buy one of each i think and test away. anyone want such a test ? it has already been done. but confirmation is always good too right ? (scored a nice 8 ft BUD today kinda test). hehe.

I'm not fimiliar with the G Box because we don't carry it but I know for a fact that Powertech makes very good stuff.

so the vbox II is in the mail. eta is the 25th. ill be ordering the gbox this week. pics and reviews will follow next week as long as i get my newly acquired 7.5 (8?) ft star trak dish set up (10 ft aluminum is gonna get shedded for abit).

What about the testing results it would be grateful to see the difference between those two I will want one of those but I will want the best

sorry for the poor response. been busy with work and multiple BUD salvages. it seems that i havent yet gotten around to ordering the gbox. i can say that the vbox 2 i bought works well enuff. i sourced it for 60 cdn plus shipping. it counts all of the pulses it should on my von weiss high count actuators and is very precise on the ku. only beef is it catches the goto reference command thru my ecoda switch. this makes the dish runaway to the east until it hits the hard limits. other than that it works very well. not to say there isnt tons of room to improve dish positioners. haha.
