Default need help

ok...i would like to try something different(wait til my wife sees this)....i have a 36"(90cm)off set dish...i purchased a conical scalar ring and a DMX741C/KU LNBF.Will i be able to catch any c-band satellites like 99 west?im in North Carolina area.....thanks in advance.

....I dont think you are gonna catch C- band with a 90 cm dish, you have to go bigger.

You may catch a few transponders using the apparatus you mentioned above. You can also try 91.0W°. Remember to first lock on KU band signal on 91.0W° or 99.W0° then swap the KU LNB for your C-Band LNBf. Find the C-band without the Conical Scalar. After you have peaked the strong signal the much you can without the scalar, then add the Scalar to increase the quality. You may have to play a bit with the scalar to increase quality. Remember, you're only going to get a lock on a couple of transponders due to the size (90CM) of your dish. Good luck!
