Default If you purchase the $69.99 CBAND Deal from WSI, post your set up here

Just thought it would be nice to see how many folks here purchased this deal from WSI.

I did and so far I have just built the Polar mount. I have not built the dish yet.
I know KRLOS did and completely built.. anyone else?

Great job there Doug. Like the way you were able to adapt the 2 5/8" needed for the mount.

I'm impressed with what I've been able to pick up with it, even getting a few on the KU Band with the LNB I'm using.
I'm sure when the leaves drop from my neighbors tree's things will look better!

Doug,

How long of a Pole did you actually use and how much is it actually underground? I am assuming you are using a standard fence pole?

I believe the Post was 8 feet ?

It's a 2 3/8"( O.D.) Galv. Terminal Post ( Fence)
Buried it 4 feet and have about 30 inches exposed. Filled the inside of the post with concrete as well.

Excellent work, I might do the same as you hopefully soon. So been that its 8ft and u only used about 6.6ft of it, why could you not go any higher up?
Say 60 inches exposed?

Had to go to around that height due to Tree issues with the neighbor. Hopefully, one of these days he may decide to Cut them down.
