Old timer needs update for High res music and rural health care network distribution

I the past I was part of implementing A & B & F antennas for International voice for the Caribbean and South America nearly 10 years ago.

Just recently I have requests for High fidelity, IP based, music distribution for content developers, and a state-wide Rural health care network, both from very rural areas where significant terrestrial bandwidth is not always available, and I believe that a Satellite distribution system is called for. Unfortunately, my knowledge in this area is 10 years old, and I need a fast update to deal with these new projects. Can anyone send me, or point me to some current primers?
