The Sathawk pvr800 has blind scan and does DVB S-2. I have one and like it very much.

Sorry, I didn't see this before now.

The AzBox is a great box, but it has its idiosyncrasies. It will do DVB S-2, 4:2:2, 4:2:0 and has other bells and whistles, but no blind scan. They have regular software updates, but the some issues still remain unresolved. It still can't record High bit rate signals, but display them fine straight from the satellite. I usually use my Coolsat 5K reciever to scan for signals and then input the parameters in my AZBox. In all I will say it is a good STB for the price we pay for it.

no 4:2:2 thats what i use th pc card for.but does have a fast and acurate blind scan if we could take all of the HD receivers out there and add them together we may have the perfect receiver.
