Question Ku band channels in the clear

Hi, I am unable to receive the free KU band channels. I am using a 12ft mesh dish and a motorolla 4Dtv receiver and a Viewsat platinum receiver. Is there some element of programming which I would need to do to start pulling in these free channels?

If you have the Viewsat slaved off of the 922 the 922 will need to be on and set to the proper polarity.

Thanks for your quick response. I must say that I am not too technical but I have a standard C-band LNB and a Dish Network LNB.
