this may help i dont have a cw anymore .but all leniar lnbs use 10750
all circular use 11250 im not sure how you will set up the rest but if you look in your book it will tell you let me know ill try and look into it
bill
I went up on the roof and put dish on the mount,i first used a Sat finder in between the LNB and the Receiver and used The Compass to point at 61.5 i had no signal, i had it plugged before on a DN and had the Freq 11250 tp 12355/H/2000/5/6 with good strong signal, and good signal set up from a Dish 500,well i think i need to put all the parameters in the CW but i don't know in the book it doesn't give you much, only says USALS SETUP local parameters.I gave up for today because it's too cold up there cannot stand it. hope some one here give me more info about how to operate this CW receiver it's kinda tricky, and about that freq 11750 that does not exist.

Longitude angle=012.5 09

longitude direction=East

latitude angle= 41.9

latitude direction=north

rotating speed=0.00

i assume that i have to change all these for my area ?

My mistake i mentioned using Dn 61.5 connected to a 500 Dn Freq 11250 tp 12355/H/2000/5/6 but what it was Frq 1050 LNB type OCSP -DP cause have a DP switch, and TP 12632/2000 3/4. guess i must have put Normal cause no switch.

Latitude 41.6976

Longitude -716976

for motrorized for my are 61.5 elevation 40.8, azimuth 180.6 since pointed the dish manually to 61.5 180w without the motor running, just with my compass. is this for just some motors and dishes ?

i can see why you use 61.5 it is closest to true south but you should have used motor put dish at true south then run motor over to 61.5 then save info and you got one running

thanks Wildshovelbill: you say i should run the motor manually or with the usuals? but when i have put the dish on the pole where should i point it at?before i use the motor to take it to the true south? also shouldn't i put on the Latitude 49 that's in the booklet instructions that came with the motor instead of the 42 that i have by someone suggestion,

what do i put in the Receiver's USALS parameters, should i put
Latitude 41.6976 and Longitude -71.6976 or the same i put in the motor?

latitude and longitude goes in usals[ yours]
if you got quality on that sat then you got the elevation .
i would set my dish straight at true south then u should be able to use usals to go to what ever sat you want
weather is a muck here .hope you the best
