Default Dish elevation

Has anyone tired this...I checked my dish after I had it working and it was right on.

Set Dish motor to "0" my most south is 85W or AMC 16
Elevation from Satellite Finder / Dish Pointing Calculator with Google Maps | DishPointer.com 40.1 deg
Fortec 90cm dish offset angle is 24.62 deg
40.1 deg
-24.62 offset
=15.48 deg---this is the angle of my dish when I put a straight edge across my dish vertically then use an angle finder (inclinometer).
This should be a quick way to get a dish very close to the proper angle.
Your thoughts
Jim
