@ the Red Highlighted.....That's not accurate. I have a ViewSat Ultra and it has Blind Scan. The only slight draw back to the blind scan feature is that it has problems seeing S/R below 3800 or so, otherwise it works well.

.I had one that i already did sell, it has software blind scan not hardware blind scan (there is a diference), Pansat (exept 9000 have real hardware blind scan) and Fortec have real hardware blind scan, viewsonic ( is a brand selled by viewsat and it has real hardware blind scan), dreambox500 has software blind scan, CW700 and CW ultima have real hardware blind scan, i did sell my viewsat ultra because it didn't do a good job scaning and working with motors, regards babadem.

Yea, I had a Viewsat also and sold it. I really think it being made was for the hackers market. About the blind scan, this is why I never sold my Fortec Lifetime Ultra - I use it as a tool and what a great tool it is.

.........that's correct, ...........that's why i keep my Pansat 3500 as a great tool to scan. [they are almost the same receiver (Pansat3500 and Fortec Lifetime Ultra)], regards.

@ the Red highlighted........that's also inaccurate krlos. Viewsat Ultra has Hardware based Blind scan. As I stated earlier in my post, VS Ultra for some reason doesn't seem to display video signal below S/R 3800 or so, but it definitely has a Hardware Blind scan capability. See partial listing of VS Ultra Features below. For full VS Ultra information see the ViewsatUSA Website. What Firmware version of the VS Ultra's did you use for your motor operation? I also have a Coolsat 5000 to compliment my VS Ultra for Blind scanning. Regards to you too.
