Default DMX522 Dual KU Band LNBf

Looking at the DMX522 LNBf, I noticed that one (left) of the dual ouput connector holes seems to be wider than the other (right). Is this larger output delibrate, and will it affect connectivity/signal in a negative manner?

Actually, they are both the exact same size. The one on the left has black sharpie marked on it. It's from the factory. When they do their quality control test, they marke the connector with black marker to show it's been tested.

I just got a chance to install this LNBF on my 90cm dish late yesterday on AMC 4 @ 101° W. I always experience reduced signals (signal Q goes from 32 to almost 10 on a Viewsat ultra Q meter, 68 to 62 on Coolsat 5000) on Frequency 12060 H, 26700 SR late in the evenings, hence the use of DMX522 as an alternative. It should be noted that this was a multi LNB installation with 105°W as the main and 101°W as offset. Now, when I took out my old LNB with a 4.0 Signal Ratio and installed the DMX522 the signal on Transponder 12060H on 101°W disappeared, but all other strong transponders had high Qs. I tweaked the LNB in every which way, but no joy. Then, I disconnected the multiple LNb setup, and setup the DMX522 alone on the Dish, yet the best Q I could squeeze out of it was just 12 on my Viewsat Ultra, and the picture was breaking badly. Frustrated, I replaced the DMX522 with my old Orsat LNB with 4.0 Signal to noise ration, and boom it went to 40 and steady and no picture breakup. Dejected, I reset the LNBs at 101°W and 105°W using the old LNBs.

My question is........wasn't the DMX522 supposed to perform better in low signal situation like the scenario above since it claims to have a lower signal to noise ratio?
