Default About WS9036 - SG9120 installation

Hi All,

I was wondering if you guys could give some guidance with a new installation here (I'm reaching the breaking point).

I have a WS9036 hooked to an SG9120 (backyard). The motor seems to be working fine (I can move it using the receiver). I followed all the instruction to set the system up, but still have no luck (plumed pole) . I got a dual Universal LNBF and I'm still stuck with the same results (70% strength and no quality). If I connect the old DTV dish that I have on the roof I'm able to pick up the channels from DishNetwork (just the help ones).

I did set up the dish (using dishpointer.com) pointing to the True South (in my case, for zipcode 01852, true south would be 72W). I tried to blind scan AMC6 (72W) with no luck at all (I moved the dish around with the motor and by hand as well but no luck). I also entered 12143 V 2573 and 12068 V 9755 TPs and tried to scan those (same thing for other strong Tps) but nothing.

I also changed the way the holder is installed (after I checked some pictures and drawings that have it differently), right now I have it on top of the arm.

Can you give me some ideas, at this point I'm about to pull the plug on the project, so any idea would do.

Thanks

Attached are some pictures of the setup

Did change the holder to reflect picture (not the way that the Datasheet shows it), but still nothing

Bro you better get a sat finder and connect it to the LNb, than get a strong Tp from the Sat you're trying to get put it in the receiver with the right settings on the receiver, but you also have to set the right elevation of your location, than all you have to do is move dish to left or to the right in little increments, also up and down and look for signal on the sat finder.

The LNBF holder needs to be installed properly. Look at the picture attached.

What is the LNBF frequency you are using in the receiver (LO Frequency)? You should have 9750/10600MHz in the STB.

Here is a recommendation.... Take the dish off of the motor, then try to lock in a few satellites by manually moving the dish to ensure your equipment is working properly.

thats right babadem, the square pipe should be inside the opening of the lnbf holder.
