Welcome to the forum James....

1. What type of LNBF are you using?
2. What's your zip code?
3. Which satellite(s) do you want to point to?
4. What azimuth and elevation are you currently using?

What's the brand of your LNBF? I just want to make sure it's a Universal and not a Standard. If you can give me the frequency off of the label, it would be good.

Make sure when you select Universal LNBF inside the receiver these two frequencies appear:

Low LO: 9750MHz
High LO: 10600MHz

Once you do this, get on transponder frequency 11836 V SR-20765. Make sure you have the cables on the back of the satellite receiver hooked up properly.

Based on your location, this is where you need to be pointing:
Location
Latitude: 33.4335°
Longitude: -111.7257°
Dish
Elevation:48.0°
Azimuth: 154.5°
LNB skew: -21.0° Azimuth

Azimuth is the turning of your satellite dish East and West or Left & Right. This is the same as your compass reading. Make sure when you look on your compass for the proper degree, that your compass is away from your satellite dish. Remember, metal can throw off the reading on your compass so be very care full.

Elevation is how high up the signal is coming from. You can usually measure your elevation based on the degree markings on the back bracket of your satellite dish antenna. Make sure you don't tighten the bolts too much to leave room for play in case you need to fine tune your antenna with your signal meter. Once you fine tune to the highest possible signal, you can tighten the elevation bolts.
Skew or Polarity is how much you turn your LNBF. Standing in front of the satellite dish, looking at the dish, if you have a positive Skew angle you want to turn your LNBF counter-clockwise. If you have a negative skew angle, you want to turn your LNBF clockwise. Usually, in the East coast USA you have a positive skew and in West coast USA you have a negative skew.

Make sure your motor is off of the dish. This is the only way the settings I gave you above would be correct.

Once you lock in the signal do a powerscan. If you want to see a full listing of channels on Galaxy 19 @ 97W you can go to FTAList.com - The easy list of North American free-to-air TV channels

Good Luck.

are you using a motor or is this a stationary setup? also see this site it will help with your angles.
