Today I spoke with a guy that purchased a similar meter to the Lexium FastAlign 5110Pro, because he wanted me to warranty his meter. After using his meter for only 14 months the screen went out completely. The man swore that I sold it to him. So, after a careful investigation given to us by the man we checked our records and discovered that we never sold it to him his meter. I felt sorry for the guy, but even if I sold him the meter it was out of warranty, that particular meter only comes with a 1 year warranty and he has to contact the manufacture for repairs. I also mentioned to him that if he had purchased a Lexium FastAlign 5100Pro or the Lexium FastAlign 5110Pro from me (Ideal Satellite) there would have been no worries. Our Lexium's come with a 2 year warranty and the company is fantastic to work with. So, my friend don't get caught like the man on the other side of the phone with no warranty. Remember our friend with the other name brand meter, well it is cheaper to purchase a new meter than to repair his old one. It looks like he will be purchasing a Lexium FastAlign 5110Pro after all. He found the company that he purchase the meter from and of course they could not help him and ended referring him back to the manufacture. The manufacture gave him a quote for the repairs and that's when he emailed me. He asked if he could purchase the Lexium FastAlign 5110Pro from me and proceeded to tell me his story. Of course I told him that I could take the order for the Lexium FastAlign 5110Pro as soon as he was ready. I tell you it is good to have a good warranty for any of your equipment.

Wow. It's sad to hear such a story. Unfortunately, we get that all the time here. People who have bought things and either warranty is not honored by the seller when something happens, or they have just ran out of warranty and something happens. As far as I'm aware, LEXIUM brand of equipment, including satellite meters, and FTA satellite receivers are the only ones in North America that carry a full 2-year warranty. Also, all WS International brand of LNB and LNBFs carry a full 2-year warranty.
